Spans

Spans are the individual operations that make up a trace. They are created only through Ingest traces — there is no create, update, or delete on the public API.

Base path: /spans. All routes require a Bearer API key.

Visibility: A span is visible exactly when its parent trace is — see API key scoping. There is no separate span ACL.
