Traces

The Traces API is an OpenTelemetry (OTLP/HTTP) collector plus read and update endpoints: send raw OTLP trace exports and Aegis decodes, validates, and stores the traces and spans under your account, then list, fetch, and edit filing/sharing metadata.

Base path: /traces. All routes require a Bearer API key.

Sharing: Traces are stored under the authenticated caller. With a project-scoped API key, ingested traces are attributed to that key's project — see API key scoping. After ingest, you can share, unshare, file into a collection, or assign a project via Update trace.

Individual spans on a trace are read through the Spans API.
