Delete extra column

Endpoint: DELETE /datasets/{dataset_id}/extra-columns/{column_id}

Description

Removes an extra column definition from a custom dataset and clears that column's values from every record in the dataset.

Sharing rules

Custom datasets only. You must own the dataset or belong to the dataset's organization when it is org-shared.

Parameters

  • Path: dataset_id — integer; column_id — string matching col_[0-9a-f]{8} (otherwise 422).

Error responses

  • 401 — Authentication failed.
  • 400 — Not a custom dataset.
  • 403 — Permission denied (same as Create extra column).
  • 404 — Dataset or extra column not found.
  • 422 — Invalid column_id path format.
  • 500 — An error occurred while deleting the extra column.

Responses

  • 204 — No response body.
